What is the "Hygienic Opening" at the bottom of the shapewear?
Most of our Pliē pieces feature a hygienic opening designed for your convenience. It allows you to use the restroom without having to pull your high-waisted shapewear up and down. Simply open it with both hands from the front and back for easy access.
Do high-waisted pieces roll down?
Rolling usually happens if the size is incorrect. Our Control and Emana® collections feature silicone bands for a secure grip. Additionally, our Control Skin line is equipped with lined mini galvanized steel fins to prevent rolling and ensure it stays in place all day.
How do I keep my shapewear from rolling?
1. Ensure you choose your exact size—never smaller. If it's too tight, it will naturally roll. For a personalized fit, email your height, weight, bust, waist, and hip measurements to plieshapewearemana@gmail.com.
2. For Double Layer products, wash them before the first use to increase fabric flexibility.
3. Pull the high-waist high enough so it almost touches your bra line.
📏 Sizing & Fit
I'm between sizes, which one should I choose?
If you are a first-time user or choosing an Extra Firm product, we recommend sizing up. If you prefer a more relaxed feel, sizing up is also the best choice.
Should I buy a smaller size to look slimmer?
No. Functional shapewear must be worn in the correct size. A smaller size will compress too much, pushing body tissue elsewhere and creating undesired bulges, which compromises your silhouette and comfort.
Is Pliē designed for all body types?
Absolutely! Whether you have a small figure or a curvy one, Pliē is for every woman at every stage of life. It’s not just about slimming; it’s about confidence, smoothing imperfections, and providing back support.

Can shapewear help with back pain or posture?
Yes. Our high-waisted designs support the lower back and encourage better posture while sitting or standing. We highly recommend the Emana® High Waist Shorts for back support.
Does it help with cellulite or period pain?
Yes. The compression can help relieve period pain by improving blood circulation. Our Emana® Control line also activates micro-circulation, which helps conceal the appearance of cellulite over time.
Will it make me lose weight?
Shapewear is not a weight-loss tool, but it instantly defines your curves and smooths your figure. The gentle compression may also help you feel full faster by providing slight abdominal pressure.
📦 Shipping, Returns & Pre-Orders
Can I return an item if I change my mind?
Yes. You can return unworn, unwashed items with tags intact within 30 days for Store Credit (valid for 3 years). Please contact plieshapewearemana@gmail.com to start the process.
What does "Pre-Order" mean?
Pre-order items are high-demand products currently in transit to our warehouse. If your order includes a pre-order item, the entire package will ship once that item arrives. To receive in-stock items sooner, please place separate orders.
What if I receive a faulty product?
If you believe your item is defective, please email a photo and description of the issue to plieshapewearemana@gmail.com within 30 days. We will inspect the case and provide a replacement if a fault is confirmed.
