The Pliē journey began over 20 years ago with a powerful vision: to provide every woman with the foundation for a flawless look and to reconnect her with her innate confidence and femininity. Regardless of body shape, size, age, or stage of life, Pliē was created to be the ultimate support system for the modern woman.
What started as an ambitious dream in Brazil has quickly taken the world by storm. Today, Pliē Compression and Shapewear remains 100% Brazilian-designed and manufactured, trusted by millions of women in over 60 countries. As our global journey continues, we are proud to offer confidence-shaping essentials that help women feel beautiful every single day.
The New Chapter
In 2019, the Pliē story took a personal turn. Monica, while on a family trip and expecting her second child, struggled to find maternity wear that offered both back support and breathability without compromising on style.
When a friend introduced her to Pliē, it was a revelation. Driven by her own experience as a busy mother, Monica set out to bring this transformative shapewear to more women. In October 2020, despite the challenges of a global pandemic, Pliē Shapewear was officially launched as a family-grown brand.
The response was overwhelming—our launch batch sold out almost instantly. Now, backed by a dedicated team and a growing community, we are ready for our next chapter. We believe that confidence should know no borders, and we are excited to bring Pliē’s comfort and support to women everywhere.
